Her work explores interdependence and the transmission of knowledge.
Besides her visual work, she works as a journalist, where she enjoys writing for a variety of Independant publishers inluding American Community Media. She is COO and board member of the independant Indigenous publisher, Indigenous Network and its newspaper Indian Voices.
She is also a member of the Indigenous Journalists Association, BAVC Mediamaker, BGDM, Video Consortium, Circle Docs, and the International Documentary Association.
