Director, Photographer, Visual Artist. Person curious about the wonders, tragedies, and nuances of this endlessly complex and fascinating world.

Briefly about:

For fifteen years, Verónica has been working in the film industry. Educated at film school in Los Angeles, she is founder of Light+Noise, a boutique film production company. 

Her most recent documentary screened at over thirty film festivals, including DocNYC. Her previous work has been officially selected by SXSW and exhibited at the Getty Museum.

She also directs commercials and is represented by Minted Content in Los Angeles. She has been a film fellow at BendFilm:Basecamp as well as selected for IDFA Academy. She serves as documentary programmer at VBIFF, an organizer at Video Consortium:LA, and her work has been supported by organizations such as Brown Girls Doc Mafia, Film Independent, and the Native American Journalist Association. She also serves as a mentor of the AXS Film Fund's 2024 cohort. 

She is also a photographer, working in fashion, lifestyle, and product. Examples of her work can be seen with Target’s launch of Native shampoo & conditioner. She has also photographed campaigns for fashion brands such as for Made in Earth in Los Angeles, and Zizzo. 

Beyond her photo and video work, she is also a contributing journalist and board member at the nonprofit IndigenousNetwork, where she was awarded the 'Ethnic Media Service' award from California State. She is a current journalist fellow of the Jeff Bezos Earth Fund.
